Roedale History

2005: Roedale Precision Rifles was founded The company was run as a part time business. Building extreme robust, dependable Hunting and Match Rifles with garuanteed accuracy was the main focus.
2008: Roedale Precision is turned into a full time business building bespoke - absolute one of a kind Precision Rifles with exacting Quality. During 2008 we also built our new workshop.

2009: Roedale Precision introduces own design - own manufacture component products with the idea to replace hard to procure parts and introduce accessories that are new and exclusive to Roedale. Desing innovation makes our products very popular very soon.

• Roedale Magazin System for Tikka T3
• Roedale Magazin System for Remington 700
• Roedale Picatinny for Howa 1500, Remington 700,Tikka T3 and Sako
• Roedale Muzzlebrakes ( developed in conjunction with the University of Applied Science- Osnabrück - Germany)
• Roedale Delta Sound Moderators ( developed in conjunction with the University of Applied Science- Osnabrück - Germany)
• Roedale Bipod for Sako TRG
• Work with the composite stock manufacturer PSE Composites is started 
• Roedale Avenger II Bolt Action ( unfortunately this project, This failed due to the poor quality of the end product supplied to us by the company we had selected to machine the actions )

2010: Own design product range is increased with further developement and marketing.

For 5 years Roedale Precision Rifles built Bespoke Custom Rifles. Each and every rifle was an absolute one of a kind. Exacting accuracy and highest Quality, built to the specifications of each and every customer individualy. Roedale Precision offered customers the possibility to have a Bespoke rifle built to thier own specifications on thier own choice of parts. Unfortunately this was a mission that proved to be not as simple as it first sounds. Ever increasingly stringent US Export regulations made the procurement of USA manufactured parts very difficult. Availability and punctuality suffered as a result. At one point we had a choice of over 750 stock options, 5 or 6 Action Manufacturers, 7 Barrel Manufacturers plus the Accessorie Manufacturers. This meant that a customer had a choice of over 25.000 different options.
Fantastic choice + Great Idea = Logistical Nightmare. We saw problems due to certain suppliers making promises of quality and time that they couldn't deliver. Export issues also played an annoying role.Retailers and Customers all suffer from the well know general apathy within the Firearms Industry it took us a while to sort the wheat from the chaff when it came to reliable partners. We had to do some backside kicking and a fair amount of shouting into the process, but towards the end of 2010 a definate direction was apparent.
2011: Further steps taken in independancy from foriegn suppliers, production of major components concentrated on EU suppliers and foriegn supply concentrated on a selection of absolutely dependable sources.

• Roedale Chassis System RCS II Viper finaly available. ( November 2011)
• Roedale Chassis System " Raptor" will be marketed. ( November 2011 )
• Manufacture of Roedale Seriesn Custom Rifles to replace Bespoke manufacture is in full swing (Dezember 2011)
