GPH-Mountain

This light weight version of our GPH rifle is designed to be as light and ergonomic as possible for use in the high country. This version features the revolutionary Alluminium Sleeved Barrel Technology  from Lothar Walther. By turning a match barrel blank down to a very light sporter profile and then fitting an outer sleeve of construction grade alluminium LW deliver a barrel that has the outer contours of a varmint or sniper profile barrel but weighs less than a standard sporter barrel. This technology achieves the same goals as carbon wrapping of barrels but delivers better more repeatable accuracy. The GPH-Mountain also features a light weight rifle stock from PSE composites and the Avenger II action is lightened. To save weight the GPH Mountain is fitted with an Alluminium bolt shroud and uses a trigger blocking safety catch rather than the Secura 3 Possition safety catch found on the standard GPH rifle.

Typicaly the Roedale Model 110 GPH Mountain is used in .260Rem and .308Win as an allround, easy to carry high country rifle.  It is also highly popular in .300WSM and 7mmRSAUM for long range game hunting situations on larger game in mountain terrain
